- 18 Gold Head Coach

Ashley Clark's Experience

Ashley Clark joins Surfside this year with 20 years of comprehensive volleyball playing and coaching experience. A fun fact about Ashley is that Surfside was the first volleyball clinic she ever attended!  After spending a year at Mira Costa High School, her family moved to Bakersfield, CA where she transferred to Centennial High School and won the Valley Championship her Sophomore year.  She chose to attend CSU Dominguez Hills where she competed as a NCAA Division II volleyball player and track athlete, while earning her BA in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Mathematics.  She also holds a Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine.  As a coach, Ashley believes in providing her athletes with transparent communication in a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that creates opportunities to learn and grow in the sport and in life.  In addition to coaching, Ashley is a Senior Manager and Producer for Be Better Life and Be Better Media.
