Sloane is coaching her third year at Surfside after moving to the area from Seattle, Washington.Sloane began volleyball when she was 5 and hasn’t stopped playing since. She helped her high school team get to state for the first time ever, and placed 7th. She went on to play at Corban University and was the starting Middle Blocker as a Freshman. After her second year she was given the CoSida award for top academic and athletic performance in the region. She graduated college with a 3.95 GPA and Suma Cum Laude honors; she holds her bachelors degree in Spanish, with a minor in English. She has worked as a coach at youth camps for 2 years, volunteer coached middle school girls for 6 years, coached u17s club, she currently coaches adult beach volleyball classes, and is the JV coach at Bishop Montgomery High school. She spends her free time playing tennis, spikeball, and of course: volleyball.
