Riley is a North Hollywood resident who played at Valencia High School and graduated in 2016. He continued his volleyball career coaching men’s volleyball at Valencia high school after graduating. Riley transferred to the University of California of Santa Barbara in 2018 where he played on their men’s club volleyball team for two years. He graduated in 2020 and holds a Bachelors of Arts and Sciences degree in Economics and Accounting.
Riley has played and coached volleyball for 8 seasons for all age divisions. While in high school he played club volleyball for Santa Monica Beach Club for two seasons. He is passionate about coaching as he grew up a coach’s son playing football, basketball, and baseball. Apart from his coaching experience, Riley is a huge fan of Los Angeles Clippers basketball and Philadelphia Eagles football. He is an active fan of new TV shows, movies, and hip hop when he’s not coaching volleyball. Riley is extremely excited for the opportunity to join the Surfside Volleyball family and looking forward to connecting with the players and other coaches. When Riley isn’t coaching on the volleyball court he works full time as an accountant for a small business.
