Former standout setter Julianna Hicks has amassed an exceptional resume in a short period of time. A four-year Varsity standout in high school, she went on to Pierce College and finished her career at Hope International University with several accolades. At Pierce College she was a starting Setter and Team Captain, led the team to 2010 State Championship title with 29-3 season record, Led the state with third most assists and top 40 in aces, 1st Team all CCCAA State Championship Team, 1st Team All-WSC Conference and 1st Team All San Diego Mesa Tournament. While playing at Hope International University she was named All-NCCAA Honorable Mention. Julianna is a Pierce College Hall of Fame Inductee. Julianna holds a degree in Sociology, and completed her Master’s in Coaching and Athletic Administration.

Her coaching career began in earnest thereafter and included a multi-year run as Head Varsity Girls and Boys coach at Chatsworth High School. Most recently, Julianna has assisted the Harvard-Westlake School Girls and Boys volleyball program. In addition to the high school programs, Julianna has served as LAVA’s Non-travel Program Director, the Division Manager and Assistant to Directors at LAVA South, as well as head and assistant coaching. Her coaching career is as follows.
