Carly is starting her first year of coaching with Surfside. She has previously coached a freshman boys volleyball team and a team of sixth graders.
Carly is from Simi Valley, CA, where she started playing volleyball at 9 years old. She continued playing at Simi Valley High School while also playing for Point West Volleyball Club until her senior year when she joined Reef Volleyball Club. She started as an outside hitter, before switching to setter in her junior year of high school. After graduating high school in 2017, she continued her indoor and beach volleyball career at Moorpark College. In 2018 and 2019, her teams were Western State Conference Champions in indoor and on the beach. Carly received All-Western State Conference and Scholar Athlete honors both years. By the end of her sophomore year, she held 3rd place in California for assists per set and 1st place in conference for assists per set and total assists.
Carly holds two Associate of Science degrees in Natural Sciences and Criminology. She is currently a senior at California State University, Long Beach, pursuing her Bachelors of Science degree in Criminology.
