Coach Jaylin is so excited to be back coaching with Surfside again this coming season! As a player she redshirted for Cal State San Bernardino in 2015 as an outside hitter but later ended up back in her hometown of Torrance, CA to pursue a volleyball career at El Camino College. Her first season there she helped lead the team to a 3rd place finish in the state tournament and was on the 2016 All South Coast Conference 2nd team. In 2017, Jaylin was captain of the indoor team along with being named into the South Coast Conference 1st team & finished just shy of making it to the state tournament but assisted El Camino in becoming 2016-2017 back to back South Coast Conference Champions. Her journey from player to coach began in 2016-2018 with Nfinity VBC’s girls 13’s and 14’s. She then got an offer to coach at Momentous VBC and assist the 17s, 18s, and head coach the 16-2’s & become the head freshmen coach at Mater Dei High School from 2019-2021. She is now back in her hometown to coach with Surfside for the 2nd time after being the head coach of the 13 MB legends in 2019-2020. Jaylin is looking forward to this season with Surfside PV & is hoping for a great season! Go Surfside!
