Caila began playing volleyball at the Orlando Volleyball Academy at the age of 16. After receiving All-District awards and winning three State Championships, she continued her career at Liberty University. At LU, she was a member of FCA and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and was selected for the First Team All Conference team as well as the All-Conference Academic team. In 2015, she transferred to play at the University of San Diego and graduated with a degree in Interdisciplinary Humanities. She spent the next two years playing professionally; one season in Akureyri, Iceland and the following in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Throughout her time in college, she coached several teams at Coast Volleyball, as well as helping with after school clinics and VolleyTots. After her return from Switzerland, she worked coaching the 12’s team at Orange Coast Volleyball Club. She is now living in Hermosa and is excited to stay involved and give back to the sport.
