Playing Experience:
Brittnay started playing volleyball at the age of 13 in Palm Harbor, Florida. She acquired two Florida High School 5A and 8A State Championships in 2010 and 2011 at East Lake High School. She was named Pinellas County Co-Player of the Year in 2011.
After high school, she moved to Nashville, TN where she received her B.A. in Journalism and New Media at Lipscomb University. While at Lipscomb, Brittnay earned AVCA All-South Region (2015), Atlantic Sun Player of the Year (2015), A-Sun Tournament Most Valuable Player (2015), A-Sun first team All-Conference (2015), AVCA All-South Region Honorable Mention (2014), A-Sun Second Team All-Conference (2014), A-Sun All-Tournament Team (2014).
She then transferred to Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA where she earned her Masters in Educational Studies and continued her career playing beach volleyball. She played on the 2s pair under John Mayer and Betsi Flint.
Coaching Experience:
While in Nashville Brittnay coached for Alliance volleyball club for the 14-3s and 18-2s teams. After graduating LMU Brittnay was the assistant coach for Crossroad’s School in Santa Monica and Westcoast Beach Volleyball in Santa Monica. She also was a volunteer assistant at Loyola Marymount University with coach John Mayer and Betsi Flint. This is Brittnay’s second year with Surfside, last year she assisted the 12 MB Kimberly and helped out with the 15 MB Gold.
