What should you do now?

All Ages and Divisions
  • Coaches want emails and texts with videos of your play and updates on your grades, test scores and achievements! If they are a Division 1 Coach and it’s before June 15th of your sophomore year they cannot respond to directly to you, but can respond to your coaches generally, and will be following your progress.
  • Coaches will be more involved with social media to show their interest – make sure your social media is clean and never decline a college program that asks to follow you.  You should also follow and like/comment posts from programs you are interested in.
  • Attend camps and clinics of schools you are interested in.
  • Visit campuses you are interested in, understanding that you will not be able to have any contact with athletic department staff or get an athletics-specific tour until August 1st of your junior year if it’s a division 1 school.
